You'll find over 39 different types of accommodation in over 1400 localities - from self-contained houses and cabins to motels, hotels and tourist parks... we list a broad range of accommodation to suit various needs and price ranges. In most instances we put you directly in touch with property owners and managers to further your enquiries and make bookings.

Community
TakeABreak is proud to work with Keep Australia Beautiful as a Tidy Towns/Sustainable Communities sponsor and for the Tidy Towns Travel initiatives. We proudly donate the value of all unredeemed gift vouchers to charity. We also give donations to community organisations such as local schools to assist their fundraising. In 2008 we are donating $10,000 to a number of charities as our christmas gift to the hard-working and loyal accommodation operators we work with.

The environment
At TakeABreak we take our environmental responsibilities seriously. We continually work to make sure our emissions stay low as we grow, including by purchasing greenchoice electricity, reducing office paper consumption (most of our key systems are now electronically archived), keeping our own air travel to a minimum by using phone and video conferencing wherever possible, and many more reduction efforts.
