This is a very unique way to experience and explore Australia's Whitsunday islands and Great Barrier Reef Marine Park,

South Long Island Nature Lodge consists of private waterfront bungalows and an open dining gazebo overlooking a private beach
at Paradise Bay, on the southern tip of Long Island - the most secluded and un-spoilt location in the Whitsundays.
The Lodge is surrounded by national park rainforest teeming with unique Australian wildlife,
subtropical waters of the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park, fringing coral reef, and dozens of uninhabited islands.
Guests enjoy a perfect combination of privacy, relaxation, excellent food,
fine wine and good conversation with fellow guests from around the world,
plus some exhilarating but comfortable adventure - in a stunningly beautiful natural environment.
The Lodge owns and operates its' own 34 foot yacht,
which sails each day (except Sundays) to explore the surrounding reefs and islands.
All sailing, snorkeling and kayaking excursions are available for guests all day at no additional cost.
Spoiled in an unspoiled wilderness. The Lodge has been designed as an ideal vacation and has taken the gold in my book. My expectations have been greatly surpassed, the bar has been raised and our honeymoon has been one to be envied. There is a balance between luxury and adventure.
