Take the Princes Highway to Newtown Railway Station.

At the traffic lights immediately after the station turn right into Wilson Street, which is one-way at this stage.

Travel down the one-way section and cross the roundabout (now two-way).

Pass Hollis Park on left and continue to 204/206, which is on the the corner of Holdsworth Street.

Approximate travel time 15–20 minutes and cost AU$15–AU$20 by taxi. This is the cheapest and most efficient way to Wilson Street.
