This luxury 2 storey, 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom house, plus pool table room has been fully appointed to make your stay as comfortable and relaxing as possible. Designed as a DIY health retreat you can enjoy leisurely activites each day including fishing (BYO equipmnet),golf(clubs not provided),swimming and strolling around the island or foreshore. You can also enjoy theraputic or relaxation massages and long soaks in the spa bath. The Island has a coffee shop/restaurant, Pub, Bowls Club and Yacht Club for eating out. Two supermarkets/newsagent, a fishing & boating shop, Chemist, post office, art gallery, Pizza and a fish and chips shop.
Sirenia Retreat has all the character and charm of a well loved hand crafted yacht. The yachting theme throughout fits well with the location - overlooking a tranquil anchoarge. This large 4 bedroom home has been archirtecturly transformed into a great modern day holiday retreat.
Macleay Island is being refered to as the "New Casuarina" by many, yet still remains a well kept secret most people are yet to discover. Macleay Island is very easy to access being just 10 minutes from the main land (Redland Bay) by Water Taxi service or 45 minutes by car ferry. Water taxi's and ferries run on the hour and connect directly with public transport at redland bay. Redland bay is Just 40 minutes drive from Brisbane's CBD, and 45 minutes to Queenslands major theme parks on the northern part of the gold coast.
For the fishing and boating enthusiasts you can anchor small boats just out the front of the house near a grove of mangroves(subject to tide conditions) and for large boats 100 meters form the house in the deeper calm waters of the natual bay inlet which is a popular large boat anchorage. A speed boat gets you to Peel islands beautiful white sandy beach (Horseshoe Bay) in 10 minutes where you will find some old ship wrecks to snokel around. Stradbroke Islands surf beachers and Morton Islands world famous sand dunes make for great day trips for those with a boat.
