Arborlee a wilderness with the comforts of home,a peaceful context without other tourists.
The owner takes guided walks on the property and has knowledge of the plants and animals and local history.
The setting is perfect for the birdwatcher,botanist,artist or photographer.We share this sanctuary with australia's rare Albert's Lyrebird and other uncommon birds and animals.Arborlee will soon be Nature Refuge.
The self contained unit opens through french doors onto a verandah with views of the rainforest.
Arborlee is 2hr40mins from Brisbane, 40mins from Warwick and 25 mins from Killarney.
We keep a guest book for guests to sign. Guests have commented on the oasis in the drought, our warm hospitality, the relaxed atmosphere and informative guided walk and the birds.
LocalityThe area is close to Main Range National Park, Queen Mary waterfall and other parks are only 1-1.30 hours away.
It is just over 1hours drive to Stanthorpe and Wineries.
The drives in the district are very scenic and there are some quality places to enjoy a meal.
