Watervale is central to the many wineries and attractions of the Clare Valley region and home to Granma’s B&B apartments. Located in the main street 200 metres from the Watervale sign travelling north through the town. Watervale is approximately 10 minutes south of Clare and approximately 5 minutes north of Auburn, also within a two hour drive to other regions such as the Barossa, Yorke Peninsula and even the Southern Flinders.

Granma’s B&B is a beautiful stone villa that was built in the early 1900’s and has been divided into two B&B apartments.

Casablanca is a two bedroom suite with plenty of space and comfort for two couples to enjoy a relaxing stay. Each bedroom has a queen size bed and the bathroom has separate bath and shower. The eat-in kitchen has all you need to prepare a hearty breakfast with plenty of bench tops, a good sized fridge, a large convection/microwave and a relaxed atmosphere. The large lounge room with slow combustion wood fire overlooks the outdoor BBQ area and pergola. With the character of exposed stone and the charm of country style furniture this is an olde world home away from home.

Chelsea has all the romance of a bygone era but with modern comforts. Designed for just one couple, it has a queen size bedroom, a bright modern kitchen and large cosy lounge and dining room. There is a slow combustion wood fire for winter warmth and an outdoor patio and BBQ for the warmer months.

As these suites have adjoining internal doors that can be opened up, Granma’s can accommodate up to 3 couples with maybe 2 children

If you like to cycle there are a mountain bikes available. So why not cycle the Riesling Trail? Stay indoors to watch a DVD or listen to your favourite CD, stroll the village, check out the wineries, restaurants, country pubs and antique shops. The choice is yours.
