Destiny has a 3 bedroom ECO friendly cottage located on 200 acres of wildlife refuge in the Scenic Rim area of SE Qld. Only 70 mins from Brisbane or the Gold Coast and only 5 minutes from the township of Boonah.

The cottage is fully self contained and can accommodate up to 7 persons, in 3 bedrooms. Verandahs are on three sides of the cottage so there is always somewhere shady to enjoy the magnificent views of the border ranges.
Our ECO Cottage is the best example of beeing enviromentally friendly with high standards of comfort.

The kitchen/dining area is spacious and well appointed with a full size gas stove, oven and fridge/freezer. All cooking utensils, cutlery & crockery are provided. Tea & coffee making facilities provided but all other food must be brought with you.

The separate lounge area is comfortably furnished with TV and a piano! Books & board games are available for your enjoyment.

There are shady verandahs around 3 sides of the cottage with plenty of tables and chairs. A gas BBQ is also provided for outdoor cooking.

At DESTINY we endeavour to be as eco-friendly as possible. We use solar and wind power and offer lower tariffs if you bring your own linen.

We also can cater for day visitors and offer special rates to groups and club

Destiny Boonah ECO Cottage is only minutes away from Lake Maroon and Lake Moogerah. Easy parking for boat trailers and horse floats.Destiny Boonah is located in the Heart of the Scenic Rim area of South East QLD, World Heritage listed. Close to the Border Ranges and its abundance of National Parks, the mountain scenery is breathtaking.

Boonah is an agricultural community with a wealth of local produce available in the area. Olive groves and vineyards are growing in number and some are open to visitors.

Boonah also boasts a very active art community with several art galleries open on weekends, and the SPAR Arts Festival each September.

The Boonah Visitor Information Centre is only 5 minutes drive away and can offer many suggestions for things to do and places to visit in our beautiful corner of SE QLD.

Well marked walking and riding tracks criss cross the 200 acres of beautiful bushland. You can explore at your own pace and rest on the timber benches located at various lookouts.

Wildlife abounds on this "Land for Wildlife" property. Wallabies, possums, geckos and many different bird species are readily seen each day.

The property also offers a home for our donkeys from the Eselburg Donkey Farm which provides donkey welfare and rescue. We can arrange a Donkey Guided Bush Tour for you (at additional cost).

You are welcome to bring your mountain bikes or your own horses to help you explore the property. There are yards available for your horses. Please enquire about our rates for horses.

The property currently sleeps 7 in 3 bedrooms. The main bedroom has a queen and single bed and its own ensuite. The second bedroom a queen, the third bedroom has two king-sized singles. Extra mattresses are available for larger groups of up to 12.
Linen is provided but we offer our ECO package with discount if you bring your own linen. Pillows and doonas are still provided.
