Accommodation
It is hard to believe that you could find a stunning Victorian mansion set in an acre of magnificent gardens only 400 metres from the city centre. Combining the charm of yesteryear with modern conveniences, this really is a special accommodation experience.
We stayed at the Gattonside in April for 2 nights the only thing that was wrong was we should have stayed longer as the owner was the most friendly and accomodating we encountered on our 4 week tour of Australia.
The four poster bed in our room gave us the rest we needed as we had travelled across Tasmania the previous day.
An added bonus was the B+B is closer than we were led to believe to the Harbour and Salamanca area, we were dubious as a lot of places claim times of walking distance."Tripadvisor"site
